A couple months ago, a Toronto Publishing House held a short story contest looking for words inspired by the Broken Social Scene record, You Forgot it in People. Well, now we got some winners…. and a Victoria author made the cut. Her name is Eliza Robertson… Eliza wrote a story based on the instrumental “Late Nineties Bedroom Rock for the Missionaries.”She took the story in a very literal direction…its about a Missionary and it features rocks, like actual geological things.
