This is an update on the original CRC logo from back in 2005/2006 or “season 1” of Capital Rock City. I love the colours and radio-esque imagery of the sound meters.

Two and Tim: Capital Rock City logo idea

another day, another Capital Rock City logo idea.

Thank you Two. What do YOU think?

I like the graphics Two used on this logo, they remind me of Vancouver Island and then boom, the record right in the middle. The lettering could be snazzier maybe, but overall… wing-dingish and I like.

And Tim Ell takes another stab at the logo and to be honest, this to me is the winner. The one question to you might be, is there better “wording” that could be used? It is a little hard to see and I have already asked Tim to isolate the middle sticker thing, all the “record” is not necessary for most practical purposes. BUT if say… I were to make a Capital Rock City vinyl collector record, this is sorta what i had in mind (except on red vinyl).

I might want to add any of the following.

and I think it would be cool to meld the retro vibe with some modern venacular, say “genuine mp3 audio clarity.” Just some ideas.

So what do you think of this as a possible Capital Rock City logo or header?

My man Tim facebooked me some Zone logo’s that he’d been toying with and I asked him to chew on an idea for Capital Rock City. What do you think? if you have some feedback on what the logo could or might or should look like, send me a message or comment and I’ll pass the feedback on to Tim. My gut says I like it. Kinda has an avant garde vibe which I like. It looks like album art which I also like because I always think of Capital Rock City as a record (in my head, its a podcast silly). If you have some ideas or insight, share it and we’ll get back to the drawing board. The show must have a graphic! or who among us will take it seriously?
