Subject: The song by Phoenix
Not gonna lie mate, it blows. Not tryin to offend anyone. It sounds exactly
like all the other “Glam” Rock stuff you guys are playin way to much of
lately. I thought you guys were supposed to be modern rock? So where’s the
ROCK!!! Anyways, love your station, but please, enough with these songs that
should be played in the gay bars of Soho in London. Maybe a little Pearl Jam
or Tool to win me over again?? Ciao for now. Scotty

lol. that’s a rad email.
i’d choose a tool song over pretty much anything else on any given day… so i can’t argue with the guy.
I’ll give him points for taking more time than to just bang out “1901 SUX” but I think that he’s missing the point of “modern” and “musical evolution.”
Tool’s good, Pearl Jam’s good, but neither of them are current right now!
love Tool… and when they have new music, they get played. But Phoenix is pretty groovy by my ear. Complete different style than Tool… like comparing Apples and Oranges. Both fruit, both good, not the same.
How refreshing that he had to use London gay bars as an analogy. At least he is educated enough to know where most of them are…
