In late 2009, Bear in Heaven released their critically acclaimed Beast, Rest, Forth, Mouth. I downloaded a couple key cuts as it sounds great during my lounge sets at The Veneto Lounge on the weekends.
Lately, I have been gravitating to “Wholehearted Mess.”
Last night, Coral was slamming through some episodes of Skins and during a scene where Michelle and Stanley are hugging on the shores of a lake… a song is raging at the beach party just beyond them. I recognized the song and Michelle said, “hey I love that song.”
Wait-a-minute, I do too Michelle!…. that’s Bear in Heaven! Nice.
The song they featured was “Lovesick Teenagers.” Such a pretty song about that lustful time in all our lives. I like the song because it talks about how those feelings still live in you and out there… long after you think they don’t. Good times and an adorable song.

The Morning After 
Why are you watching the super shitty American Skins? Man up, and download the British series. It’s 100% better.
I like the American one fine 😛
Season one is short, so maybe I’ll move over to the British one… but like the Office… hipsters told me the “British one is WAY better…” and yeah, nope.
The problem with British entertainment is that its too real. i don’t want to watch marginally funny unattractive people being sad. i want to watch fake hot people being fake and hot.
That’s the beauty of British entertainment. In the British Skins you really get invested in the characters. It feels more real if you get my meaning. I recently convinced Kat (@klancashire) to watch UK Skins, and it has been an emotional roller coaster for her I think.
I’m going to start bugging you until you start watching the British Skins.
