Canadian fun-rocker power poppers Hollerado are putting out a new record in February called White Paint. The boys in Hollerado are giving us more of what made them popular with Record in a Bag… fun, upbeat, catchy modern rock. Song has the positive rock vibe which permeates through modern rock… I guess with a Democrat in the White House, we get treated to four more years of happy jams.
Hollerado falls into that space of popular music that has a more traditional rock & roll vibe. Song has some boogy, it’s propulsive, and its fun without the obvious reference to “Foster The People” (which seems to be a common touch-point for bands right now sending in tunes to compare themselves to).
Hollerado just wrapped a tour with Passion Pit…if you were lucky enough to see that live, then probably you can agree when I say that Hollerado is a good times show.
