From the West Coast Best Coast of…. Ireland? Doesn’t matter where you are, Best Coast is best.
The band is called New Sunset Hotel. The Irish lads had a bit of a regional hit when their brand of folky indie emo showed up on BBC 2 and Today FM in Ireland. The song “The Bitter End” also flirted with some hot chart action in Ireland as well.
It took some time and some growth to be able to follow up that initial success, but things have fallen into place for a song called “Love Revolution.” Too be honest, I much prefer this new one to “The Bitter End.”
The band says RIYL The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Kodaline.
I’d support that assertion. Here we go!
