Irish indie rockers Bell X1 released their 7th album, ARMS, in Ireland last year. Now the record is getting rolled out with a July 21st release date>
The album with recorded in Dublin then mixed by the great Peter Katis (The National, Jónsi) with Ross Dowling mixing the song “Out of Love.”
“The title ARMS is about the idea that, as the world feels like it’s becoming a harsher place (maybe there’s just more damn noise?),” says singer Paul Noonan. “We seek out the comfort of the familiar and familial…arms.”
Let’s have a listen to a couple songs. First I have a slow love song. Very pretty.
Now the more muscular, almost Peter Gabriel sounding, “Out of Love.”
