Brighton pop-rockers The Kooks share the third song off their upcoming album Let’s Go Sunshine (August 31st). The press release tells the story.
“Four Leaf Clover” follows the fortunes of a down-and-out girl, who turns to drugs and alcohol to battle the loss of her lover. Despite its dark subject matter, it’s just the slice of acoustic guitar-driven pop rock that launched The Kooks into the spotlight over a decade ago. Luke Pritchard’s instantly recognizable vocals flow effortlessly over a rousing rhythm and energetic guitar licks, making “Four Leaf Clover” an infectious retelling of an all too familiar tale.

We had a ton of mint left over from a salad Coral made earlier in the week. And with all this summertime heat we thought we could put it to use in a cocktail. Last night was mojito’s and the Amy Schumer flick, I Feel Pretty.
This glass isn’t a “Collins” glass…but I love it. I get these glasses from Christmas from my sister-in-law’s partner. Maybe one of the better Christmas presents I’ve ever received.
Go with yourself.
