It is snowing like crazy outside the Casa La Corj. It is so nice out this morning I almost forgot that I crashed my Jeep last night.
BWOAR!
I fired up the old Jeep last night to return a movie and grab a new one and headed to Rogers. The Jeep slays in the snow and the roads weren’t too bad. I got to the movie place alright, but coming out of the parking lot there was a line-up of cars waiting for the light. I hit the breaks and… whoosh, it was like they weren’t there. I couldn’t believe it. In slow motion I slid into the car in front of me. Bastard. It wasn’t a fast or traumatic accident, but my bumper hit the car in front above their bumper so I did some damage and will need to go through ICBC. Man, just typing about it is getting me fired up. The lady I slid into was very nice and we quickly exchanged the info and were on our way. I get back on the road and people are sliding every which way. NOT me. I drive fine. I stop fine. But on that tiny strip of road, driving a few kilometers an hour, I briefly loosing control, and it was the one place where there was a car to hit. grrrr. Ah well, what can you do… I must have had a karma deficit that needed to be paid.
I was thinking of changing my radio name to “Crash” Baker. But apparently there is already a Vic DJ named Crash. I should phone him up on the show sometime and challenge him to see how many car crashes he’s caused.
Might want to go out and enjoy the snow. Madelyn doesn’t have a snow suit or anything, but it might be fun to walk around a bit in the snow. Maybe walk to Tim Hortons for a coffee.
mmm, Tim Hortons coffee…
Go with yourself.
