Vancouver based JIMI shared her new ep, Bar Stars & Beauty Queens. The record features the single “Leather Jacket” which we have already heard on CFOX. The song was also utilized by the Toronto Blue Jays as a celebration jam after a home run.
Jimi shreds on the guitar with a massively energetic live show. She has been grinding, building a considerable following, and hitting the road playing shows right across Canada and the US. Jimi says, “This has been a long time coming, and finally getting to share these songs with the world feels like a dream come true. I’ve poured my heart into every record, digging deep into my own experiences and letting the blues run through my fingers. I wanted to bring that old, timeless sound back to life while still making it my own. I hope when you listen, you can feel the honesty, the grit, and the soul that went into making these records.” Let’s punch up the new single, the title track off the the ep “Bar Stars & Beauty Queens.”
