Still learning and exploring Vancouver. Last night I went on a journey after work. Walking around Gastown and Railtown in the rain. Found a great beer joint, the Alibi Room. Wanted to find Propaganda Coffee in Chinatown (it was closed) but made the promise to myself to hit it today.
Here we are.
Since moving to Vancouver, I’ve had y share of Starbucks and Tim Hortons, but I knew Vancouver was a coffee COFFEE town, so I decided to start making the effort to find a place. Propaganda on East Pender in Chinatown (just east of Main) was exactly what I was looking for. Chill, clean, simple space. The crew knew their coffee. I had a latte, and it was what I expected. And an important part of any groovy space is the soundtrack. I am a nerd for that so I spent some time trying to pick out the sounds…I liked the Nick Mulvey that popped up. They played “Alisa Craig.”
But that is just a sample cut…so I’ll also post the feature cut from the Londoner’s record First Mind.
So pretty.
Enjoy the subtropical rain storm. I am!
Oh and ratings came out at CFOX…my first book…and yeah they were really good. Thank you for supporting CFOX and listening to FM radio.
Go with yourself.
