I got my papers in on time so I will be running for town council in Esquimalt. I think this week I will be getting my hands on a proper url for my campaign. I’ll release my vision for our community and get some posters made up. Good times. Coral and I will then be hitting the road to put them up around town.
Please remember to vote for me on November 15th. If you don’t live in Esquimalt but you know someone that does… please ask them to vote for me.

I am DJing tonight at Hugo’s if you plan on doing some drinking on a Tuesday night. Time to get ready to head into the Zone.
Go with yourself.
good luck on the job.
with 12 people running and 6 spots, you’ve got a 50/50 shot, so that’s good.
i imagine they pay pretty well too.
i was reading that in calgary, council members make 80K a year. i imagine esquimalt is a bit less… the calgary thing also said that most council members work 60 hours a week. and i can’t imagine that esquimalt would keep council that busy. but i really have no idea.
i do know that campaigning isn’t cheap… but more like “an investment in the future”, right?
gotta spend money to make money.
i remember voting for you back in coquitlam, lol.
i always thought you’d drift back to politics eventually…
haha… yeah, it is something I have always had on my mind.
The job in Esquimalt pays considerably less. It is mpore like a stipend, I make more money DJing at nightclubs. But I think this will be more quality work and if I do a good job, then something I can take pride in.
The population of Esquimalt is a little over 17,000. Next time you come over to visit Tindy, I’ll take you over the blue Bridge to my town. the walk around the harbour to Vic West and then eventually Esquimalt is pretty nice. Like the sea wall at Stanley park or to lesser extent, that walk around the Burrard Inlet in Port Moody.
actually, come to think of it… Esquimalt is lot like Port Moody except prettier. Same vibe, small enclave in a bigger city, good peoples.
“But I think this will be more quality work and if I do a good job, then something I can take pride in.”
kinda like working in radio, eh?
you do it for the love of the final product… not the sweet paycheque.
esquimalt sounds lovely. i think i may have been there… but i’m not 100% sure.
i recall the blue bridge for sure.
ha, yeah for sure. Just like radio… for the love, not the money.
