Yesterday it was Robbie Burns Day. A day to celebrate the life of the great Scottish 18th century poet. Today is Australia Day… like Canada Day but backwards and upside down… less snow, more Vegemite. (is there anywhere to buy Vegemite in Victoria? huh.)
I have been listening to a few bands form both Australia and Scotland lately and thought… if ever there was time to merge a playlist of these two geographically opposite Nations… its today.

Hej Jeremy!
Stoked to hear you try the good old vegemite live on air today u did australia proud i hope you get to like the stuff but yeah the idea is more butter then vegemite preferably on toast but if you really want to lighten up on the whole biting into the ocean experience mix it with a bit of cream cheese or regular cheese slices or even some mix it with peanut butter ( have no idea why people do mix it with peanut butter :S) but thanks for celebrating Oz Day on your show!! ( Yeah we definately do get less snow! I use to study and work over in Victoria BC and do miss the snow hopefully visiting in August 2012!)
wow, thank you for the nice comment Danielle! if I ever make it to Australia, maybe I can crash on your couch? hahaha
