We’ve rocked some ZHU on this blog in the past. His song “Faded” did alright.
The producer teamed up with Tame Impala for a song called “My Life.” Pitchfork didn’t like, but I’m a trash panda whose taste is less refined than that website. I love it.

Aussie rockers Tame Impala will be releasing a box set edition of their 2015 album Currents on November 17th.
The press release says; The Currents Collectors Edition box set includes the album on limited edition red marbled vinyl with alternate artwork, a 12″ featuring two remixes and a 7″ and flexidisc with three b-sides. Plus a poster and a zine of images and scribbles offering a candid glimpse into the making of Currents.
ZOMG! I want that so badly.

Jam opened a new location in Vancouver on Beatty….I walked by it the other day around 11AM…and it was not too busy. Returned today with Jack and Coral, lined up down the block. Bullshit man.
No worries…Meat & Bread was just down the street, so we went there. Great tunes smashing while we ate meatball sandwiches.

Perth, WA psych rockers Tame Impala are gearing up to invade Canada. I will welcome them as liberators!
The single being sent to radio from their most excellent record Lonerism is called “Elephant.”
The song will be featured in a Blackberry 10 TV commercial… so you’ll hear it. And whaaaaaaat? They’re also playing Sasquatch.

Perth, Australia’s psych band Tame Impala put out a record October called Lonerism. A very groovy record revered by the folk’s in the know. I like to hit the vibe-out music while plugging away in the office.
The song “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards” is an interesting reflection of style and sound. Dig it from All Things Go:
“Tame Impala’s musical time travel is a beautiful, post-modern adventure elevated to high art. This isn’t conscious revivalism, but a sort of subconscious exploration of our musical id. And it’s updated by new school technical tact.
